1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using WaveRise, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use WaveRise only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or applications
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated systems to scrape or collect data from our platform
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

4. Job Postings and Applications

For Employers

  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your job postings
  • You agree to process applications in good faith and comply with all applicable employment laws
  • You will not discriminate against applicants based on protected characteristics
  • You will maintain the confidentiality of applicant information

For Candidates

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your resume and application materials
  • You understand that employers will receive your application information
  • You will not submit fraudulent or misleading information

5. Prohibited Content

You may not post content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
  • Contains discriminatory language or practices
  • Is spam, fraudulent, or misleading
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains personal information of others without consent
  • Is defamatory, harassing, or abusive

6. Intellectual Property

The WaveRise platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by WaveRise Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without our express written permission.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that our platform will be available at all times. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WaveRise Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WaveRise Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco, California.
